Pomegranate Sorbet
Nutrition Facts:
120 Calories
Ingredients:
1 Cup Pomegranate Juice (this is about 2 freshly squeezed pomegranates)
1/2 Lime Squeezed
1/2 Cup Sparkling Water (Still water works just fine as well)
2 TBSPs Sweetener of Choice (I use stevia for less calories… see “substitutions” section for more info)
Clear Whey Protein (optional)
Directions:
Add all ingredients listed above to Creami cup and mix well.
Freeze overnight (at least 8 hours!)
Run frozen cup under lukewarm water so ice does not stick to the sides
Insert into Ninja Creami and run it under the “Sorbet” function
Re-spin as many times to get the consistency you want
Note: If you like a “slushier” consistency, add splashes of water or pomegranate juice before re-spinning until you reach your desired consistency
Enjoy!
Tips/Substitutes:
For my Protein Lovers: Add GRAMMS Clear Whey Protein Isolate before freezing. It is super light, very smooth, and does not leave you with that bitter protein taste! My favorite flavor is their lemonade, but they have a few more flavors! Go check them out!
If you are using fresh squeezed pomegranate juice, you’ll open and deseed about 2 pomegranates. Then add them to a food processor and pulse on high for a few minutes. Press the puree through a fine mesh sieve as much as you can to extract as much juice as possible. You’ll need a cup of juice for the sorbet.
Substitutions for stevia: Sugar, agave syrup, syrup, honey, etc. If you are using any of these substitutes, then use only 1 TBSP for the recipe.
After your first spin, scrape the sides of the cups down before respinning to avoid an icy texture
Frozen Cherry Espresso Martini
Facts
Yes, it is as good as it looks
Serves 2
Ingredients
4 Shots Vodka (do 3 shots if you don’t want any hint of alcohol)
1 Shot Coffee Liqueur (I used Kahlua)
1/2 Shot Simple Syrup
1 Cup Frozen Pitted Cherries
1 Shot Espresso (If you do not have Espresso, use about 1/4 cup of Cold Brew Coffee)
Xanthan Gum (optional… thickens it up a little)
Directions:
Add all ingredients listed above to Creami cup and mix well.
Freeze overnight (at least 8 hours!).
Alcohol does not freeze so there should be a little bit of liquid that rises to the top of the frozen substance… this is OK.
Insert into Ninja Creami and run it under the “Sorbet” function.
Because alcohol does not freeze, you should be able to hit a good consistency after the first spin. However, if you want an even more liquid consistency, add a splash of water before re-spinning the 2nd time.
Now you are ready to pour the frozen martini into the glass & enjoy!
Substitutions/Tips:
You can replace the simple syrup if you are trying to watch the calories. Stick with a TBSP or so of zero calorie sweetener (stevia, monk fruit, etc.).
If you do not have an espresso machine, easily replace that ingredient with 1/4 cup of normal black coffee (cold brew or fresh brewed should work).

Strawberry Chocolate Chip
Nutrition Facts:
305 Calories
16g Protein (No protein powder added)
Ingredients:
300mL Milk (or fill to just below max fill line… I use 2% fairlife milk)
1 Cup Frozen Strawberries
7-10g sugar free/fat free Vanilla Pudding Mix (about a tablespoon)
7-10g zero calorie sweetener (replace with sugar if that suits you best)
Pinch of salt
Protein of choice (optional… if you do this, see below “tips” section)
1 Large TBSP Mini Chocolate Chips (Mix-In)
Directions:
Add ingredients 1-6 listed above to Creami cup and mix well. Make sure the milk covers over the frozen strawberries to protect your Creami from any damage.
Freeze overnight (at least 8 hours!).
Run frozen cup under lukewarm water so ice does not stick to the sides.
Insert into Ninja Creami and run it under the “Ice Cream” or “Light Ice Cream” function.
Note: “Light Ice Cream” function will give it a soft serve type of consistency.
Re-spin as many times to get the consistency you want.
Note: If you like a softer consistency, add splashes of milk before re-spinning until you reach your desired consistency.
Once your desired consistency is reached, add the mini chocolate chips to the Creami cup and run it under the “Mix-in” function.
Enjoy!
Tips:
If you are adding protein, Clean Simple Eats Vanilla Protein is your best friend. This is the only one I use as it doesn’t give of the chalky aftertaste that most proteins do! I usually do half of a serving here as a lot of protein comes from the Fairlife milk I use too!
After your first spin, scrape the sides of the cups down before respinning to avoid an icy texture
If you like chunks of strawberries in your ice cream, you can dice up a few strawberries (frozen or not) and throw them into the Creami cup before running it on the mix-in function.
That’s it for today! Have a great weekend and a Happy Valentine’s Day!!
