Recipe #60!!
the perfect recipe to prep you for summer
This publication has been active for just around 4 months, and we are already on to recipe #60! I hope you have learned as much as I have during this time growing this community of Creami enthusiasts! I really do aim to provide you with the best tips/recipes/etc possible so that you can take advantage of this awesome machine! I mean what is better than healthy ice cream!?
Today’s recipe I have been messing around and trying to perfect for about a week now. I live in South Florida and the heat is really starting to come on strong. This is the perfect treat to make with your kids after a long day at the pool or with a friend after getting the perfect sunburn at the beach! It is refreshing but also savory and combines some of the best natural tastes for summer taste buds! Recipe #60 is Tropical Coconut Mango Ice Cream!
Before we get to the recipe (& in case you missed it last week), I just want to give the pre-made ice cream mix company “Tasti” another shout!
I have been absolutely devouring their product, and it has taken the place of my daily protein shake… but it is ice cream!?! Insane.
The EASIEST way to make great tasting, high protein Ice Cream. They figured it all out for you. It is perfectly crafted to be creamy and great tasting all while providing about 15-20% of your daily protein intake!

Thanks for listening to my little rant… now to the recipe!!
Tropical Coconut Mango Ice Cream
Nutrition Facts:
302 Calories
8g Protein (no protein powder used)
Ingredients:
1 Cup Mango Chunks (frozen or not!)
1/2 Cup Milk (I use 2% fairlife milk)
1/2 Cup Coconut Milk (I used lite coconut milk)
1-2 TBSP Honey or Maple Syrup (adjust for sweetness)
1 TSP Vanilla Extract
Pinch of salt
Protein of choice (optional… if you do this, see below “tips” section)
1/4 Cup Shredded Coconut (optional… for mix-in)
1-2 TBSPs Coconut Butter (optional… for mix-in)
Directions:
Add ingredients 1-7 listed above to a creami cup and mix well.
Freeze overnight (at least 8 hours!)
Run frozen cup under lukewarm water so ice does not stick to the sides
Insert into Ninja Creami and run it under the “Ice Cream” or “Light Ice Cream” function
Note: “Light Ice Cream” function will give it a soft serve type of consistency
Re-spin as many times to get the consistency you want
Note: If you like a softer consistency, add splashes of milk before re-spinning until you reach your desired consistency
Now prep the coconut swirl to mix-in (optional):
Melt coconut butter and mix the shredded coconut in
Pour coconut swirl mix into the blended creami and run on the “mix-in” function
Enjoy!
Tips:
If you are adding protein, add the classic Clean Simple Eats Vanilla Protein. This is my main go-to as it doesn’t give of the chalky aftertaste that most proteins do! I usually do half of a serving here as a lot of protein comes from the Fairlife milk.
After your first spin, scrape the sides of the cups down before respinning to avoid an icy texture
