Sorbets are my absolute favorite thing to make in the creami! Something about turning fruit into a guilt-free treat just feels right. They are so refreshing, taste natural, and are easy to finish off in one sitting!
If you have been following this publication, you might have notice that I find it best to use lemonade as the liquid base for any sorbet. That is because it will add to, not dilute, the sweetness to the fruit.
You also might have noticed that I do not really include protein whenever I make my creami’s.
BUT Y’ALL, I just learned that they make a “clear” whey protein and that kinda blew my mind. I am used to the chunky powders that have that distinct protein taste. “I am using the Ninja Creami to enjoy my ice cream at lower calories, not to eat something that tastes like bitter protein.”
Soooo, I gave it a shot and got a lemonade-flavored clear protein that I saw on TikTok (ofc). I threw it into a creami cup with some strawberries, and holy shi* I think I have hacked the system.
No trace of the bad protein taste and it honestly added to the creamy texture of the sorbet. My first thought when I tasted it was “I am about to be ripped” because if this is what I am eating as my “protein shake” every day, then I am all set!
The name of the brand I am referring to is Gramms. I even tried just mixing it with only water and it was so smooth, very light, and tasted great.
The only protein I condone putting in sorbet creami’s! Because:
no bad protein taste/aftertaste
super fine powder so it is easy to mix
minimal ingredients
goes down so smoothly
20g of protein for only 80 calories!!

Kiwi Lemonade Sorbet (w/ protein)
Nutrition/Fun Facts:
The tangy kiwi pairs perfectly with the citrusy lemonade base, creating a sorbet that is both sweet and tart with a touch of protein!
170 Calories
22g Protein
Ingredients:
2 Kiwi’s (peeled & chopped)
12 oz Water
1 Serving Gramm’s Clear Whey Protein Lemonade
1 TBSP Zero Calorie Sweetener (or honey/sugar… but only if you like it super sweet!)
Directions:
Add water and Gramm’s Protein to a cup and shake well (or use a handheld frother to blend smoothly)
Add the above protein liquid, kiwis, and sweetener to Creami cup and mix well. Make sure the liquid fills over the whole fruits in order to keep your Creami safe.
Freeze overnight (at least 8 hours!)
Run frozen cup under lukewarm water so ice does not stick to the sides
Insert into Ninja Creami and run it under the “Sorbet” function
Re-spin as many times to get the consistency you want
Note: If you like a “slushier” consistency, add splashes of lemonade or water before re-spinning until you reach your desired consistency
Top with honey for a sweeter bite (optional)!
Enjoy!
Tips:
For my Protein Lovers: Add Gramm’s Clear Whey Protein. Save 10% using the code “MIXI10” at checkout!
This recipe is sweet with just the natural ingredients. Do not add sweetener to preserve its more natural taste!
For my Sour Tooths!! If you want to add a bit of a sour taste, consider using a few drops of lemon juice… 5-10 drops should be just fine! This will give it the best hint of sourness.
After your first spin, scrape the sides of the cups down before respinning to avoid an icy texture
Chocolate Cherry Frosty
Nutrition/Fun Facts:
Tastes exactly like a Wendy’s Frosty + a little cherry tang aftertaste… a work of art!
285 Calories
17g Protein (No protein powder added)
Ingredients:
300mL Chocolate Milk (premade fairlife chocolate or just white/almond milk combined with chocolate syrup are both good options!)
1 Cup Seedless Frozen Cherries
1 TBSP sugar free/fat free Chocolate Pudding Mix (about a tablespoon)
7-10g zero calorie sweetener (replace with sugar if that suits you best)
Pinch of salt
Protein of choice (optional… if you do this, see below “tips” section)
Directions:
Add all ingredients 1-6 listed above to Creami cup and mix well.
Freeze overnight (at least 8 hours!).
Run frozen cup under lukewarm water so ice does not stick to the sides.
Insert into Ninja Creami and run it under the “Ice Cream” or “Light Ice Cream” function.
Note: “Light Ice Cream” function will give it a soft serve type of consistency.
Re-spin as many times to get the consistency you want.
Note: If you like a softer consistency, add splashes of milk before re-spinning until you reach your desired consistency.
Enjoy!
Tips:
If you are adding protein, Clean Simple Eats Protein is your best friend. This is the only one I use as it doesn’t give much of the chalky aftertaste that most proteins do!
After your first spin, scrape the sides of the cups down before respinning to avoid an icy texture
If you like chunks of cherry in your ice cream, you can dice up a few frozen cherries and throw them into the Ice Cream cup before running it on the mix-in function.
