Cocktails in the Creami
Recipes for my 2 favorite frozen cocktails + chocolate raspberry peanut butter cups!
I have a confession.
I am so used to using the ninja creami for strictly ice cream and sorbets that I had a little incident once I finished making the beautiful cocktails you see above. Obviously, you can see I made all these in one sitting (for the photo-op of course) so I had to at least try each of them once they were done.
Well, they were so good I sucked most of them down as quick as I would any other ice cream or sorbet recipe. Only problem is, I forgot these were cocktails… as in “containing liquid joy”.
Soooo let’s just say my Sunday night was a little more relaxed than previous ones (& I may or may not have been late to work Monday morning shhhh).
Any who, I will be sharing the recipes for the ones you see on the ends of the picture.
The one on the left end is my take on a creamy, sweet Espresso Martini. I figured this would be my favorite one (and it was still 10/10), but the green one you see on the right was a wonderful surprise (I wasn’t really sure what I was doing. I just threw a bunch of shit together… I call it the Grape Gatsby).
So, I hope you enjoy these cocktail recipes half as much as I did! (if you are age 21+ obviously… if you’re a kid skip to the end I do not want to be sued haha)
The final recipe at the end (kid friendly) is something I am enjoying right now that is not Creami related.
It is low-calorie, requires minimal effort, and tastes far too good considering there are only 5 ingredients!
If you loved today’s post, please think about giving it a like at the end! The like goes a long way!!
Frozen Espresso Martini
Facts
Yes, it is as good as it looks
Serves 2
Ingredients
4 Shots Vodka (do 3 shots if you don’t want any hint of alcohol)
1 Shot Coffee Liqueur (I used Kahlua)
1 Shot Creamer (I used vanilla creamer that I put in my coffee each morning)
2 Shots Espresso (If you do not have Espresso, use about 3/4 cup of Cold Brew Coffee)
Chocolate Syrup (Optional but suggested… for outside rim of glass)
Chocolate Sprinkles (Optional but suggested… for outside rim of glass)
Directions:
Add ingredients 1-4 listed above to Creami cup and mix well.
Freeze overnight (at least 8 hours!).
Alcohol does not freeze so there should be a little bit of liquid that rises to the top of the frozen substance… this is OK.
Insert into Ninja Creami and run it under the “Sorbet” function.
Because alcohol does not freeze, you should be able to hit a good consistency after the first spin. However, if you want an even more liquid consistency, add a splash of cream or milk before re-spinning the 2nd time.
Dip the outer rim of the glass into chocolate syrup.
Roll the chocolate rim through some chocolate sprinkles.
Now you are ready to pour the espresso martini into the glass & enjoy!
Substitutions/Tips:
You can replace creamer with any sweetener of choice. If you have it, simple syrup is a great substitution, but if you are trying to watch the calories then stick with a TBSP or so of zero calorie sweetener (stevia, monk fruit, etc.).
If you do not have an espresso machine, easily replace that ingredient with 3/4 cup of normal black coffee (cold brew or fresh brewed should work).
It is not necessary to dress the rim with the chocolate syrup and sprinkles but let me tell you it was definitely worth it!

The Grape Gatsby
Facts
130 Calories (per serving)
Serves 2
Ingredients
75g Green Grapes (about 15 grapes or so)
3/4 Cup Sprite (I used Sprite Zero Sugar cuz I hate calories)
1 Cup Prosecco
1/2 of a Lemon Squeezed (or 20-30 drops of lemon juice)
Sugar (Optional but suggested… for outside rim of glass)
Directions:
Add grapes and sprite to a blender and blend until smooth (you could just add everything to the Creami cup but to be extra careful with keeping my Ninja Creami safe, I blended before freezing).
Pour blended substance into Creami cup.
Pour 1 Cup of Prosecco into Creami cup.
Squeeze half of a lemon into the cup and mix well.
However, if you want an even more liquid consistency, add a splash of sprite or water before re-spinning the 2nd time.
Dip the outer rim of the glass into water.
Roll the rim through some sugar.
Now you are ready to pour the green concoction into the glass & enjoy!
Substitutions/Tips:
It is definitely not necessary to dress the rim with sugar, but it does add to the sour/sweet combo we are looking for.
If you do not like sour, do not add the lemon!! It tastes super good without the sourness too!
